The Diagnosis and Treatment Planning course, led by Dr. Schwarze, in partnership with the Office of Community and Civic Engagement, held a Wellness Fair on March 26, 2013 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Chavis University Center on campus. Hope all is well and you got some rest over Spring Break.  I wanted to pass some great news on to you in regards to our Counseling Programs.  I just got word that our Counseling Programs at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke has received an award called the NBCC Professional Identity Award.  The NBCC is the National Board of Certified Counselors. This award states that our programs (CMHC & PSC) do excellent work to develop and promote professional counselor identities in our faculty and students. Continue reading
