North Carolina Career Development Association Conference

Friends and Colleagues,

The North Carolina Career Development Association (NCCDA), a division of the North Carolina Counseling Association (NCCA), is thrilled to announce the 2012 NCCDA Conference. The conference is October 26th and will be held at High Point University.
Please note the conference programming schedule has changed – please see updated conference schedule attached.

This year’s theme is “Exploring Unique Paths & Populations”, and will: focus on helping underrepresented college students with career development, facilitate a panel and Q&A with career counselors from a diverse range of settings discussing their career paths and transitions, explore 21st century self-marketing tools (things are changing quickly!), and  focus on career adaptability and positioning skills for job seekers later in their professional lives. NCCDA’s service efforts are going to non-profit Futures for Kids ( http://www.f4k.org/) this year, and a representative from the organization will share with attendees the great work they are doing (and how NCCDA can help!).
